A BOOK AND FILM THAT EVERYBODY KNOWS AND LOVES IS GOING TO BECOME A PROGRAMME ON NETFLIX NEXT YEAR.

The loved novel, A Series of Unfortunate Events, by Lemony Snicket, is finally underway in becoming a Netflix original series.

Neil Patrick Harris started filming in Vancouver on Monday, almost unrecognisable due to his costume.

The How I Met Your Mother star will be playing the money-driven uncle, Count Olaf for the show. He was seen wearing a prophetic nose, grey facial hair, as well as the iconic Olaf expression – miserable.

When it was announced that Harris will be playing Count Olaf, he shared the news by making jokes on twitter. ” ‘I’m excitedish to portray Count Olaf – its spending all day with those three horrible child actors that will be a challenge. #sneer #shudder.”

This version of A Series of Unfortunate Events will be produced and partly directed by Barry Sonnenfeld.

Now that the final cast has been released, we are all excited about the show will turn out. It will premiere on Nextflix in August 2016.
